Well this is blog number 1 in the Hear The Cry series for this summer's missions trips from Solid Rock. Up first is our trip to Shimoga, India. We leave this coming Sunday, July1st, at 1:20pm from PDX! We all got together this morning and the church prayed for us in both services. It was both inspiring and sobering. Inspiring to see how much love is being poured out onto us 13 people going, and sobering to be reminded that we not only represent our Lord on this trip, but we also represent the people of Solid Rock who have sacrificed financially for us, and who have been praying for us for weeks.
Well, we are all packing up this week, taking our Malaria pills (which are supposed to give you crazy, vivid color dreams!), and trying our best to prepare for our trip to another world.
Please keep praying for us all. We have felt your prayers, and covet them!
